In the 5th minute, Verners Laiviņš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. EZERVILKI's Aleksis Spakovskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andis Ūdritis in the 22nd minute of play. Aleksis Spakovskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andis Ūdritis in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Uldis Kučkovskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksis Spakovskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Uldis Kučkovskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vecpelce's supporters rose to their feet, but Uldis Kučkovskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, EZERVILKI's Aleksis Spakovskis got control of the ball when Ikars Kankers tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Vecpelce could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EZERVILKI throughout the match.
