Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ingus Štokenbergs took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Roberts Berde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberts Berde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Druvvaldis Benziks, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 6 minutes, Druvvaldis Benziks made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, FC Beberbeki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druvvaldis Benziks to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, FC Beberbeki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edijs Skrieders to maneuver through the defense. Fēliks Zurāvovičs acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ingus Štokenbergs. In the 17th minute, Daumants Venners hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernhards Pakamanis might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernhards Pakamanis ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberts Berde kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sandis Vestermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, SK Riga 1998 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Varis Ustinovičs to maneuver through the defense. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Beberbeki's Sandis Vestermans. But to his dismay, Sandis Vestermans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the game, Roberts Berde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Druvvaldis Benziks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Beberbeki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Riga 1998 the free kick. Druvvaldis Benziks kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roberts Berde took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Beberbeki's Roberts Berde. But to his dismay, Roberts Berde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Druvvaldis Benziks in the 46th minute of play forced SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberts Berde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberts Berde in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armands Bumaga-Papīrs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fēliks Zurāvovičs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingus Štokenbergs in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Imants Zvaigznonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fēliks Zurāvovičs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, FC Beberbeki's Sandis Vestermans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Roberts Berde took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Armands Bumaga-Papīrs to make any attempt to save it. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberts Berde, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Imants Zvaigznonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fēliks Zurāvovičs having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match, Roberts Berde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes into the match, Sandis Vestermans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandis Vestermans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs stood somewhat misplaced when Roberts Berde came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Roberts Berde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberts Berde slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 82nd minute. Druvvaldis Benziks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armands Bumaga-Papīrs having to interfere. Sandis Vestermans succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 92nd playminute. After 95 played minutes SK Riga 1998 got a freekick which was hit by Mārtiņs Rungulis. SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhards Pakamanis in the 96th minute of play.
