Andis Gercs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vello Valdma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, FK Pērles's goalkeeper Andis Gercs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hayrettin Kapsam. When Sīmanis Garais fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Pērles's protests and gave Sīmanis Garais a yellow card for diving instead. Sīmanis Garais kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Andis Gercs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Āris Ventnieks in the 15th minute. Hayrettin Kapsam took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andis Gercs. Andis Gercs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Hayrettin Kapsam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andis Gercs. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to SK Daugava getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Emil Ştefănuţ hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Hayrettin Kapsam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andis Gercs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayrettin Kapsam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Andis Gercs made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, SK Daugava's Nikolajs Levmanis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Andis Gercs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolajs Levmanis in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, FK Pērles's Andis Gercs got control of the ball when Hayrettin Kapsam tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolajs Levmanis got free with Andis Gercs in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK Pērles's Andis Gercs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FK Pērles from getting a goal against them. Andis Gercs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vello Valdma in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

FK Pērles made a substitution. Mārcis Lapains replaced Dāvis Reķis. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. With a left leg Andis Gercs saved FK Pērles from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, FK Pērles's Jevgēņijs Cingulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá 龙青 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vello Valdma in the 77th minute of play forced FK Pērles's goalkeeper Andis Gercs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andis Gercs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam in the 85th minute of play. Andis Gercs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute Vello Valdma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andis Gercs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Pērles's Andis Gercs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Ştefănuţ in the 94th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, FK Pērles's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrettin Kapsam came free, but Andis Gercs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the SK Daugava players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
