Ilmārs Kopāns showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Manfrēds Vilkrists kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Modris Smukais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignats Pitels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Fk Kurzeme got a freekick which was hit by Saúl Marques. Dāgs Budreckis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leons Liks in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopolds Skurvids in the 25th minute of play forced Fk Kurzeme's goalkeeper Dāgs Budreckis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignats Pitels made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ilmārs Kopāns sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Modris Smukais kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignats Pitels. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Ilmārs Kopāns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilmārs Kopāns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignats Pitels having to interfere. Ilmārs Kopāns received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ignats Pitels came out and tried to block the shot, but Ilmārs Kopāns slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modris Smukais got free with Ignats Pitels in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fk Kurzeme getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Manfrēds Vilkrists hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Aldis Piko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dāgs Budreckis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Modris Smukais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anatols Puķītis to strike the kick off in the second half. Goliāti's Ignats Pitels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmārs Kopāns in the 56th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Fk Kurzeme's Saúl Marques made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignats Pitels was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Goliāti getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Indriķis Venteris hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Paulis Suipis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fk Kurzeme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulis Suipis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmārs Kopāns in the 68th minute of play forced Goliāti's goalkeeper Ignats Pitels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilmārs Kopāns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ignats Pitels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Modris Smukais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fk Kurzeme and the Goliāti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Fk Kurzeme got a freekick which was hit by Modris Smukais. The audience was convinced that Ilmārs Kopāns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignats Pitels was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leons Liks got free with Dāgs Budreckis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Goliāti's goal looked a bit too open when Ilmārs Kopāns came free, but Ignats Pitels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilmārs Kopāns scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignats Pitels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saúl Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Goliāti's Aldis Piko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dāgs Budreckis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goliāti reached it. A collision led to Fk Kurzeme getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Charlie Gardel hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fk Kurzeme had played much better football throughout.
