Spectators: 9201 (Terracing: 6902, Seating: 2116, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ingus Štokenbergs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sandis Vestermans hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingus Štokenbergs in the 4th minute of play forced FC Beberbeki's goalkeeper Fēliks Zurāvovičs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Beberbeki getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Druvvaldis Benziks hit a great ball. Ojārs Traskevics kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Beberbeki's zone, Ingus Štokenbergs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fēliks Zurāvovičs came out of the goal and Ingus Štokenbergs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandis Vestermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Miķelis Botāns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Riga 1998's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Beberbeki the free kick. 13 minutes into the game, FC Beberbeki's Druvvaldis Benziks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roberts Berde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Druvvaldis Benziks in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Beberbeki's Druvvaldis Benziks got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sandis Vestermans sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Sandis Vestermans notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Druvvaldis Benziks got free with Armands Bumaga-Papīrs in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Riga 1998's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Roberts Berde scored to the left of an out of position Armands Bumaga-Papīrs, making the score, 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberts Berde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. That made the score 5-0 in the 48 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberts Berde to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Sandis Vestermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Druvvaldis Benziks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Druvvaldis Benziks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Druvvaldis Benziks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Sandis Vestermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberts Berde hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Druvvaldis Benziks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armands Bumaga-Papīrs having to interfere. The supporters of FC Beberbeki booed when SK Riga 1998 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daumants Venners didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandis Vestermans scored 9-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that FC Beberbeki were the better team. FC Beberbeki's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
