Stefans Nomalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgars Centers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jēkabs Pampavs in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Stefans Nomalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kirchholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 17th match minute, Neftchi Baku FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oto Petersons to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefans Nomalis in the 18th minute of play forced Neftchi Baku FC's goalkeeper Agnis Tamans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vents Holsts charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vents Holsts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vents Holsts hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. FC Kirchholm's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ilgonis Nosuls scored to the left of an out of position Edgars Centers, making the score, 1-2. In the 26th minute Stefans Nomalis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnis Tamans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefans Nomalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Agnis Tamans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Neftchi Baku FC's Jēkabs Pampavs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgars Centers. Edgars Centers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Stefans Nomalis took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agnis Tamans. Agnis Tamans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When Mārtiņs Putns came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Kirchholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mārtiņs Putns couldn't finish the play. The Neftchi Baku FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kirchholm were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vents Holsts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefans Nomalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Agnis Tamans made a huge save. Neftchi Baku FC's Raitis Bundzenieks pulled a muscle in his back after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 57 minutes into the game, Mārcis Mudurs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kirchholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neftchi Baku FC the free kick. A collision led to FC Kirchholm getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mārcis Mudurs hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kirchholm's zone, Valters Pugacs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgars Centers came out of the goal and Valters Pugacs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgars Centers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valters Pugacs in the 66th minute of the match. FC Kirchholm's Edgars Centers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valters Pugacs in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jēkabs Pampavs in the 71st minute of play forced FC Kirchholm's goalkeeper Edgars Centers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Vents Holsts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Stefans Nomalis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kirchholm's zone, Valters Pugacs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgars Centers came out of the goal and Valters Pugacs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, FC Kirchholm's Vidmants Urbass nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agnis Tamans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. If Stefans Nomalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Kirchholm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
