Seating: 2110, VIP seats: 182) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kaspars Biezeks made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Lielkangari's Ojārs Vācietis got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, one of Lielkangari:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute, Oskar Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lielkangari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Raimonds Subačs hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, FC Pallma's Klaudijs Pasils broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Edžus Pumpītis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pallma's supporters rose to their feet, but Edžus Pumpītis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermo Kaldvee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermo Kaldvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmārs Lubāns in the 25th minute of play. Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, FC Pallma's Boriss Smukums got control of the ball when Kaspars Biezeks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaspars Biezeks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boriss Smukums having to make a save. Ēvalds Struzanovs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermo Kaldvee having to interfere. If Radomir Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmārs Lubāns was the one to do the kick off. Boriss Smukums showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Elmārs Lubāns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilmārs Goldsmits got free with Ermo Kaldvee in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Skarkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Boriss Smukums tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Lielkangari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusts Jaunulis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Elmārs Lubāns managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pallma's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmārs Lubāns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermo Kaldvee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boriss Smukums showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspars Biezeks in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Lielkangari booed when FC Pallma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaudijs Pasils didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Radomir Bochynski came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lielkangari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Bochynski couldn't finish the play. Drosmis Priciņš charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drosmis Priciņš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Kaspars Biezeks came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lielkangari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaspars Biezeks couldn't finish the play. Ermo Kaldvee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmārs Lubāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Kaspars Biezeks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lielkangari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaspars Biezeks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lielkangari fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Pallma had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
