The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boriss Smukums made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raitis Knopkens in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Vilmārs Goldsmits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rūsiņs Tračevskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boriss Smukums having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match, Sentis Smuidris tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boriss Smukums saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rūsiņs Tračevskis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boriss Smukums saved FC Pallma from getting behind. Boriss Smukums was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Sentis Smuidris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sentis Smuidris really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Rūsiņs Tračevskis came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boriss Smukums could save by the left post. After 22 played minutes FC Pallma got a freekick which was hit by Edžus Pumpītis. The audience was convinced that Sentis Smuidris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boriss Smukums was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The FC Pallma fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FC Pallma's Vilmārs Goldsmits looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boriss Smukums made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rūsiņs Tračevskis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Elmārs Lubāns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pallma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmārs Lubāns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Pallma defense, Raitis Knopkens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boriss Smukums. The FC Pallma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boriss Smukums should have stopped the shot. FC Pallma's Boriss Smukums proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pallma from getting a goal against them. During the 38th minute of the match Edžus Pumpītis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edžus Pumpītis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ booed when FC Pallma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edžus Pumpītis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaudijs Pasils charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaudijs Pasils the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Boriss Smukums managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Rūsiņs Tračevskis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raitis Knopkens scored 4-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boriss Smukums, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilmārs Goldsmits to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Everts Strauts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rūsiņs Tračevskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rūsiņs Tračevskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boriss Smukums breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raitis Knopkens in the 64th minute of play forced FC Pallma's goalkeeper Boriss Smukums to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Elmārs Lubāns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pallma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sentis Smuidris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sentis Smuidris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boriss Smukums breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, FC Pallma's goal looked a bit too open when Raitis Knopkens came free, but Boriss Smukums reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Everts Strauts hit a great ball. Rūsiņs Tračevskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boriss Smukums having to interfere. FC Pallma's Elmārs Lubāns got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Elmārs Lubāns off the ground. Elmārs Lubāns hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Everts Strauts kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Boriss Smukums took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rūsiņs Tračevskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, one of FC Pallma:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Boriss Smukums showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rūsiņs Tračevskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Sentis Smuidris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Boriss Smukums tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
