Elmārs Lubāns was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. FC Pallma's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Pallma's Boriss Smukums played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rūsiņs Tračevskis in the 17th minute of play. Boriss Smukums took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rūsiņs Tračevskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes FC Pallma got a freekick which was hit by Edžus Pumpītis. If Sentis Smuidris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Rūsiņs Tračevskis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Pallma's Boriss Smukums. Boriss Smukums was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rūsiņs Tračevskis sped through FC Pallma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boriss Smukums. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rūsiņs Tračevskis to strike the kick off in the second half. Sentis Smuidris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Boriss Smukums tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boriss Smukums yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6.
