After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eduards Znots managed to get in a good position for a shot. BFC Daugavpils's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduards Znots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andris Plūmīte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, FC Royal Academy's goalkeeper Andris Plūmīte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduards Znots. Toms Kriss's late challenge caught a FC Royal Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toms Kriss helped the player get up and apologised. Toms Kriss kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
