Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ringolds Morkāns started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Ringolds Morkāns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Royal Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Kipattsiyems the free kick. After 3 played minutes FC Royal Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ringolds Morkāns. After a rather tough play, SK Kipattsiyems's Anšlavs Kamars got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to FC Royal Academy getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Godfrīds Blīdums hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Ludis Druknais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eižens Fleders fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Kipattsiyems's protests and gave Eižens Fleders a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, one of SK Kipattsiyems:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Kipattsiyems. The referee gave FC Royal Academy a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernests Barsinēvičs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SK Kipattsiyems's Klāvs Silis. 0-1. Andris Plūmīte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andis Rungulis in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elmārs Eniks charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elmārs Eniks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes SK Kipattsiyems got a freekick which was hit by Elmārs Eniks. 21 minutes into the match, FC Royal Academy's goalkeeper Andris Plūmīte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomass Losmanis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomass Losmanis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andris Plūmīte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, SK Kipattsiyems's goal looked a bit too open when Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks came free, but Klāvs Silis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klāvs Silis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute, Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Ludis Druknais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Kipattsiyems's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Royal Academy the free kick. The supporters of FC Royal Academy booed when SK Kipattsiyems was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludis Druknais didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomass Losmanis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andris Plūmīte saved FC Royal Academy from getting behind. A collision led to FC Royal Academy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ints Smits hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ringolds Morkāns managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Royal Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ringolds Morkāns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klāvs Silis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks in the 41st minute of play forced SK Kipattsiyems's goalkeeper Klāvs Silis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes FC Royal Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ernests Barsinēvičs. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kipattsiyems's zone, Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klāvs Silis came out of the goal and Atvars Līvs-Laivenieks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andris Plūmīte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomass Losmanis in the 52nd minute of play. FC Royal Academy's Andris Plūmīte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anšlavs Kamars in the 53rd minute of play. Andris Plūmīte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomass Losmanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Anšlavs Kamars ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andris Plūmīte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tomass Losmanis put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Andris Plūmīte. Andris Plūmīte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomass Losmanis in the 63rd minute of play. Ringolds Morkāns might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klāvs Silis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ringolds Morkāns ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th match minute, FC Royal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jūlijs Bulats to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Tomass Losmanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andris Plūmīte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomass Losmanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, FC Royal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ringolds Morkāns to maneuver through the defense. During the 77th minute of the match Jūlijs Bulats completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jūlijs Bulats a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, FC Royal Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jūlijs Bulats to maneuver through the defense. Andris Plūmīte came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Kipattsiyems's Andis Rungulis. But to his dismay, Andis Rungulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 95th minute Tomass Losmanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andris Plūmīte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes, SK Kipattsiyems's Gusts Kvelde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andris Plūmīte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Kipattsiyems reached it.
