Seating: 2115, VIP seats: 183) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daumants Cinkurs made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Lielkangari's goal looked a bit too open when Jēkabs Pumpurs came free, but Ermo Kaldvee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaspars Biezeks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Anšlavs Pavasars when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arvils Vozītis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Kaspars Biezeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskar Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Jēkabs Pumpurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Kaspars Biezeks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oskar Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Kaspars Biezeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Daumants Cinkurs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermo Kaldvee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 35 in the game by Kaspars Biezeks from a close distance when the talented Anšlavs Pavasars managed to make a qualified save. Matishi's players were relieved. Laimis Surkovs-Vāvere hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Matishi from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Matishi got a freekick which was hit by Spodris Višņakovs. Anšlavs Pavasars made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspars Biezeks in the 46th minute. Ojārs Vācietis struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Anšlavs Pavasars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lielkangari. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Anšlavs Pavasars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ojārs Vācietis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kaspars Biezeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kaspars Biezeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anšlavs Pavasars having to interfere. A collision led to Matishi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nils Silaunieks hit a great ball. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspars Biezeks in the 64th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kaspars Biezeks sped through Matishi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anšlavs Pavasars. Laimis Surkovs-Vāvere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ermo Kaldvee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspars Biezeks in the 75th minute of the match. Kaspars Biezeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Radomir Bochynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kaspars Biezeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anšlavs Pavasars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaspars Biezeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Anšlavs Pavasars came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks. But to his dismay, Kaspars Biezeks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Kaspars Biezeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ojārs Vācietis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anšlavs Pavasars having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Jēkabs Pumpurs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermo Kaldvee, 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Lielkangari players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
