But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Ailenei couldn't finish the play. The corner ended in Nils Dortāns almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš did a great save. The FC Riga fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Riga's Marin Ailenei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Saivis Kikals successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Insane Raccoons FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Riga had won, even though Insane Raccoons FC had held more of the ball.
