Arkādijs Vietnieks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Toms Felss when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arkādijs Vietnieks in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toms Felss, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arkādijs Vietnieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toms Felss having to interfere. The audience was convinced that He Chen Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toms Felss was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Toms Felss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkādijs Vietnieks in the 31st minute. Miro Blasić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Toms Felss made a huge save. Sigit Sulaksana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Margots Kornieks went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. FK Tornado's Sigit Sulaksana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Noworolnik in the 39th minute of play. GAUJA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Margots Kornieks in the 40th minute. The corner ended in Ulvis Cetmens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Tornado's Sigit Sulaksana did a great save. Arkādijs Vietnieks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Lluis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toms Felss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkādijs Vietnieks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Agris Kiegelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Lluis in the 55th minute of play forced FK Tornado's goalkeeper Sigit Sulaksana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miro Blasić came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FK Tornado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miro Blasić couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FK Tornado booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Noworolnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goal looked a bit too open when He Chen Xi came free, but Toms Felss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Chen Xi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toms Felss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigit Sulaksana was a little too slow when Antonio Lluis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-2. GAUJA's Toms Felss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkādijs Vietnieks in the 75th minute of play. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Chen Xi in the 76th minute of play. Arkādijs Vietnieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Christian Marder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
