The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilie Slătineanu was the one to do the kick off. Margots Kornieks was slow to take the kick. During this time GAUJA's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Antonio Lluis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rune Kapstad's late challenge caught a GAUJA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Kapstad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Rune Kapstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muammer Taşcıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Lluis went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Ion Ţiriac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Muammer Taşcıoğlu. FC Nereta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
