After a defensive mix-up in FBK Pajudris's zone, Algitas Minkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrius Šaulys came out of the goal and Algitas Minkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juozapas Ilgūnas got free with Andrius Šaulys in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FBK Pajudris getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Donatas Statkus hit a great ball. When DarkSide's Algitas Minkus in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of DarkSide booed when FBK Pajudris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rimas Aliukonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrius Šaulys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Minkus in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, FBK Pajudris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladas Puščius to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Algitas Minkus in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrius Šaulys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algitas Minkus. With his leg Andrius Šaulys managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when DarkSide's Juozapas Ilgūnas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Juozapas Ilgūnas came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the DarkSide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juozapas Ilgūnas couldn't finish the play. Naglis Mileška might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liudvikas Rančys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naglis Mileška ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juozapas Ilgūnas in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrius Šaulys saved FBK Pajudris from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Minkus in the 74th minute of play forced FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Algitas Minkus made a precise shot to the right of Andrius Šaulys. FBK Pajudris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 79 minutes into the game, Donatas Statkus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FBK Pajudris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DarkSide the free kick. DarkSide's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
