Andrius Šaulys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naglis Armonas in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladas Puščius got free with Vytenis Bandorius in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Rapolas Sidabras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrius Šaulys. FBK Pajudris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rapolas Sidabras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andrius Šaulys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naglis Armonas went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Naglis Armonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rapolas Sidabras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FBK Pajudris's zone, Rapolas Sidabras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrius Šaulys came out of the goal and Rapolas Sidabras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Vytenis Bandorius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naglis Mileška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vladas Puščius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naglis Mileška in the 65th minute of play forced Gustaytse's goalkeeper Vytenis Bandorius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FBK Pajudris's Vladas Puščius in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gustaytse's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FBK Pajudris getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vaclovas Butvilas hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rapolas Sidabras couldn't finish the play. Dangiras Leonavičius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vytenis Bandorius. Gustaytse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Vaclovas Butvilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naglis Armonas in the 84th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Gustaytse's goal looked a bit too open when Naglis Mileška came free, but Vytenis Bandorius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladas Puščius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vytenis Bandorius having to interfere. Vytenis Bandorius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladas Puščius's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the match was over Gustaytse could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FBK Pajudris throughout the match.
