Spectators: 7886 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) FK Nord's Kajus Martinaitis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Voveriukai's Ata Hand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajus Martinaitis in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Kajus Martinaitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Nord fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kajus Martinaitis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ata Hand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Algirdas Baltakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voveriukai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algirdas Baltakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Voveriukai's goal looked a bit too open when Kajus Martinaitis came free, but Ata Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliksas Godeliauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Šarūnas Saldukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Feliksas Godeliauskas came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Voveriukai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliksas Godeliauskas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FK Nord's Albertas Giedraitis got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Nord's zone, Feliksas Godeliauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Šarūnas Saldukas came out of the goal and Feliksas Godeliauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Nord's goalkeeper Šarūnas Saldukas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Feliksas Godeliauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algirdas Baltakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yiğitcan Serter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kajus Martinaitis sped through Voveriukai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ata Hand. Feliksas Godeliauskas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Algirdas Baltakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajus Martinaitis in the 83rd minute of play forced Voveriukai's goalkeeper Ata Hand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FK Nord's Robertas Dailidonis got a free kick in the 86th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Voveriukai's Vygandas Dargenis tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, FK Nord's goal looked a bit too open when Algirdas Baltakis came free, but Šarūnas Saldukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FK Nord getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Robertas Dailidonis hit a great ball. Stanislovas Gasiūnas got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Albertas Giedraitis. 95 minutes into the match, Voveriukai's goal looked a bit too open when Kajus Martinaitis came free, but Ata Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
