Klemensas Vasauskas lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 4th minute, one of FC De Burai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC De Burai. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for FK Patašiniai. Daugirdas Buivys stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Liudas Abakevičius. 0-1. Jotautas Gurskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Agnius Merkelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC De Burai's Jotautas Gurskis got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Virginijus Urbonavičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liudas Abakevičius was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Oskaras Ambras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC De Burai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Patašiniai the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, FK Patašiniai's Daugirdas Buivys tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Airūnas Dajoras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Airūnas Dajoras took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liudas Abakevičius. Liudas Abakevičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 46 minutes, Benjaminas Laivys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC De Burai and the FK Patašiniai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjaminas Laivys hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jotautas Gurskis to make the kick off. If Airūnas Dajoras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Airūnas Dajoras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Bronius Girčius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC De Burai and the FK Patašiniai players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC De Burai's Bronius Girčius got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, FC De Burai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vygantas Kadauskas to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Daugirdas Buivys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Simonas Girdvainis fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Patašiniai's protests and gave Simonas Girdvainis a yellow card for diving instead. Simonas Girdvainis hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Airūnas Dajoras in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Liudas Abakevičius kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Marijonas Matijošaitis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Jotautas Gurskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC De Burai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jotautas Gurskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th match minute, FK Patašiniai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algitas Podėris to maneuver through the defense. Agnius Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jotautas Gurskis in the 97th minute of play. The FK Patašiniai players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
