Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) HC GRIFAS's Vidas Gleveckas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rūtenis Genčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aistis Jančys, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, FK Zelabai's Aistis Jančys sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rūtenis Genčiauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Vidas Gleveckas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HC GRIFAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. FK Zelabai:s Aras Malakauskas showed great skill when he stopped Audrius Zenkevičius:s penalty. Vidmantas Milašauskas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jurgis Oginskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aistis Jančys struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Rūtenis Genčiauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Zelabai. If Jurgis Oginskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aras Malakauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidas Gleveckas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes FK Zelabai got a freekick which was hit by Airūnas Greičius. Vidas Gleveckas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Jurgis Oginskis made a precise shot to the right of Aras Malakauskas. FK Zelabai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Vidmantas Milašauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. HC GRIFAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidmantas Milašauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aras Malakauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half HC GRIFAS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aistis Jančys made a kick off. Jurgis Oginskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aras Malakauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Vidas Gleveckas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aras Malakauskas. That made the score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of FK Zelabai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HC GRIFAS:s goal. Aistis Jančys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of HC GRIFAS booed when FK Zelabai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giedrius Kaunas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidas Gleveckas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aras Malakauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saulius Barkus struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aras Malakauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HC GRIFAS. 87 minutes into the match, FK Zelabai's goal looked a bit too open when Vidas Gleveckas came free, but Aras Malakauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurgis Oginskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, FK Zelabai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Airūnas Greičius to maneuver through the defense. Remigijus Stankus struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rūtenis Genčiauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Zelabai. In the 96th minute of the match Mindaugas Baltramiejūnas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rūtenis Genčiauskas skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FK Zelabai's zone, Jurgis Oginskis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aras Malakauskas came out of the goal and Jurgis Oginskis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aras Malakauskas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vidas Gleveckas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 99 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded HC GRIFAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FK Zelabai.
