Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) 3 minutes into the match, FK Ghose's goal looked a bit too open when Vydas Leimontas came free, but Romas Alijošius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Jotautas Domkus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Jotautas Čepulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Ghose's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jotautas Čepulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jotautas Čepulis scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irtautas Grigonis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jotautas Domkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, FC VYTAUTAS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jotautas Čepulis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Irtautas Grigonis was a little too slow when Jotautas Domkus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. If Jotautas Domkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Jotautas Domkus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irtautas Grigonis. The goal made the score 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, FK Ghose's Jotautas Čepulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irtautas Grigonis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robertas Dičiunas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jotautas Domkus made a precise shot to the right of Irtautas Grigonis. FC VYTAUTAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 57 minutes into the match, FK Ghose's Jotautas Domkus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irtautas Grigonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Jotautas Čepulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irtautas Grigonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Jotautas Čepulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC VYTAUTAS's Irtautas Grigonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jotautas Domkus in the 69th minute of play. Jotautas Domkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irtautas Grigonis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arūnas Rančys during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of FC VYTAUTAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK Ghose:s goal. Irtautas Grigonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jotautas Domkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jotautas Domkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Irtautas Grigonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, FK Ghose's Jotautas Domkus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irtautas Grigonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jotautas Čepulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irtautas Grigonis was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laimutis Geldutis during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC VYTAUTAS's Laimutis Geldutis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 92 played minutes, FK Ghose's Šarūnas Daukaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Irtautas Grigonis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Ghose reached it. Jotautas Čepulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arvydas Pleskūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvydas Pleskūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FK Ghose had played much better football throughout.
