Voveriukai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Anykshchay the free kick. A collision led to Voveriukai getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Laimonas Medišauskas hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, FC Anykshchay's Vismantas Tarailis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vidmantas Sabulis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Anykshchay reached it. Almantas Rimkus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vidmantas Sabulis having to make a save. Almantas Rimkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidmantas Sabulis having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Voveriukai's goalkeeper Vidmantas Sabulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vidmantas Sabulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almantas Rimkus in the 12th minute of the match. Adolfas Bagočius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almantas Kavaliauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Almantas Rimkus came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Anykshchay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almantas Rimkus couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Liudas Vilčinskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vidmantas Sabulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Voveriukai's goal looked a bit too open when Almantas Rimkus came free, but Vidmantas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidmantas Sabulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almantas Rimkus's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Almantas Rimkus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidmantas Sabulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Liudas Vilčinskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almantas Rimkus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Vidmantas Sabulis made a huge save. A hard shot 69 in the game by Almantas Rimkus from a close distance when the talented Vidmantas Sabulis managed to make a qualified save. Voveriukai's players were relieved. Almantas Rimkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match, Liudas Vilčinskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vidmantas Sabulis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vidmantas Sabulis made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Almantas Rimkus sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, one of FC Anykshchay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Anykshchay. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Voveriukai. Jonas Gaidamavičius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adolfas Bagočius. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anykshchay's zone, Almantas Kavaliauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfas Bagočius came out of the goal and Almantas Kavaliauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Voveriukai booed when FC Anykshchay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalius Abromavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalius Abromavičius during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Anykshchay's Dalius Abromavičius got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, FC Anykshchay's goal looked a bit too open when Almantas Kavaliauskas came free, but Adolfas Bagočius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfas Bagočius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almantas Kavaliauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. FC Anykshchay played a much better game than Voveriukai and deserved their victory. The Voveriukai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
