Benediktas Mackėla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liudvikas Remeikis in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes KUVALDA got a freekick which was hit by Virginijus Nemunis. Benediktas Mackėla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mantas Basys, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, KUVALDA's goal looked a bit too open when Mantas Basys came free, but Benediktas Mackėla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arūnas Vilkas was the one to do the kick off. When KUVALDA's Eigirdas Gricius in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juodoji Orchideja's goalie prevented a goal. Jarūnas Adamonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. KUVALDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarūnas Adamonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eligijus Bikauskas's late challenge caught a Juodoji Orchideja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dovydas Ringys helped the player get up and apologised. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
