The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Robertas Burkys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aras Pocevičius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 5th minute, Girkantas Pukelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. FK Dyrzh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramūnas Kavaliūnas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FK Dyrzh's goalie and right to Valdemaras Dimskis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FK Dyrzh's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 31st minute Robertas Burkys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Pocevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nevadole FC's Ramūnas Kavaliūnas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nevadole FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Vincentas Dačys scored to the left of an out of position Naglis Dilda, making the score, 3-2. Aras Pocevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramūnas Kavaliūnas's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes, Vladas Tamkus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Dyrzh and the Nevadole FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. FK Dyrzh's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Pipiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naglis Dilda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66thth minute of the game Ramūnas Kavaliūnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Dyrzh's Aras Pocevičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aras Pocevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramūnas Kavaliūnas in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Vincentas Dačys managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Dyrzh's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincentas Dačys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naglis Dilda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Darius Pipiras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nevadole FC's Naglis Dilda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincentas Dačys in the 74th minute of play. Girkantas Pukelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK Dyrzh's Aras Pocevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FK Dyrzh from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramūnas Kavaliūnas in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aras Pocevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naglis Dilda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincentas Dačys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nevadole FC! The supporters of FK Dyrzh booed when Nevadole FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Girkantas Pukelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, FK Dyrzh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Pipiras to maneuver through the defense. FK Dyrzh were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nevadole FC for a fine match.
