Spectators: 6944 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) Petras Gudas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donaldas Ambrazas got free with Benjaminas Miknevičius in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 9 played minutes, Shorishki's Arvydas Fugzda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjaminas Miknevičius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shorishki reached it. After a rather tough play, Shorishki's Petras Gudas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Benjaminas Miknevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petras Gudas in the 14th minute of the match. Shorishki's Laimutis Brazaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardas Alkauskas in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Shorishki's Petras Gudas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjaminas Miknevičius. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Laimutis Brazaitis came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Sakal's Eduardas Alkauskas. But to his dismay, Eduardas Alkauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, FK Sakal's goalkeeper Benjaminas Miknevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donaldas Ambrazas. 30 minutes into the match, Shorishki's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardas Alkauskas came free, but Laimutis Brazaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Eduardas Alkauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Laimutis Brazaitis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Eduardas Alkauskas put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Laimutis Brazaitis. Dainius Pyragis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Arvydas Fugzda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjaminas Miknevičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laimutis Brazaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Tamulis in the 44th minute of play. Donaldas Ambrazas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eduardas Alkauskas made the kick off in the second half. When FK Sakal's Algitas Tamulis in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shorishki's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th match minute, Shorishki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vytas Brodovskis to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, FK Sakal's Eduardas Alkauskas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laimutis Brazaitis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vytas Brodovskis charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vytas Brodovskis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Shorishki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vytas Brodovskis to maneuver through the defense. Laimutis Brazaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmantas Andriulaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjaminas Miknevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petras Gudas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Shorishki's Laimutis Brazaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Tamulis in the 67th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Algitas Tamulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shorishki's Laimutis Brazaitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laimutis Brazaitis stood somewhat misplaced when Eduardas Alkauskas came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Laimutis Brazaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Tamulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laimutis Brazaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Tamulis in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algitas Tamulis in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laimutis Brazaitis saved Shorishki from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Regimantas Černiauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Sakal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shorishki the free kick. After 94 minutes FK Sakal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arvydas Fugzda who took care of the corner kick. Arvydas Fugzda made a great header on Shorishki's corner, it was just that FK Sakal's Benjaminas Miknevičius managed to reach the ball for a save. Laimutis Brazaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Tamulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FK Sakal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
