Svajūnas Petronis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Šarūnas Ambrasas's late challenge caught a Royal Club Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Šarūnas Ambrasas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Royal Club Siauliai booed when Kropilai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šarūnas Ambrasas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ąžuolas Gesaitis lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Royal Club Siauliai a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. But to his dismay, Svajūnas Petronis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Daugirdas Burneika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurelijus Kirklys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurelijus Kirklys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svajūnas Petronis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Daugirdas Burneika scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurelijus Kirklys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aivaras Dekanis made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Kropilai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Šarūnas Ambrasas to maneuver through the defense. Šarūnas Ambrasas was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Eurelijus Kirklys came out and tried to block the shot, but Daugirdas Burneika slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Svajūnas Petronis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurelijus Kirklys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Žydrūnas Deniušis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Svajūnas Petronis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Royal Club Siauliai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svajūnas Petronis couldn't finish the play.
