The audience thought a goal was coming when Andi Carlsen got free with Edmundas Sabaliauskas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was a well-played corner which Andi Carlsen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ildefonso Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gediminas Vainauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Edmundas Sabaliauskas managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FC UGNINIAI's Andi Carlsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundas Sabaliauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andi Carlsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundas Sabaliauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Buczak in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Piola in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Edmundas Sabaliauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignas Alekna in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Andi Carlsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, FC UGNINIAI's Ramūnas Klimas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
