Juras Svetulevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidijus Petukas having to interfere. Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Nadruvis from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes FC Egydasas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danas Pyragis who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of FC Egydasas booed when Nadruvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vygandas Morkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gediminas Vainauskas was the one to do the kick off. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Achilas in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juras Svetulevičius in the 61st minute of play forced Nadruvis's goalkeeper Egidijus Petukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute FC Egydasas were awarded a corner. Karolis Gilaitis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Egydasas's corner Karolis Gilaitis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egidijus Petukas quite easily take care of the ball. Gediminas Vainauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidijus Petukas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play.
