UNITED Kaunas's Raimondas Kuodys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennie Michaud in the 10th minute of play. Kastytis Norkūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Mazza having to interfere. Raimondas Kuodys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bennie Michaud who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Raimondas Kuodys when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 46 minutes of play, FC Karamba's Rimvydas Andrašiūnas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimondas Kuodys was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kastytis Norkūnas to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Kastytis Norkūnas came free, but Enrique Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
