After a defensive mix-up in FK Stackunai's zone, Vygandas Morkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justinas Opulskis came out of the goal and Vygandas Morkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidijus Rajeckas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Robertas Achilas's late challenge caught a FK Stackunai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robertas Achilas helped the player get up and apologised. If Aistis Jasas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Moretta in the 17th minute of play forced Nadruvis's goalkeeper Egidijus Petukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justinas Opulskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vygandas Morkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Egidijus Petukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Moretta in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play Nadruvis's Robertas Achilas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Nadruvis's Robertas Achilas got a free kick in the 27th minute. Egidijus Petukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šarūnas Jašinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aistis Jasas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ovidijus Rajeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justinas Opulskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygandas Morkus in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aistis Jasas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidijus Petukas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Daumantas Navikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes FK Stackunai got a freekick which was hit by Aloyzas Geležinis. FK Stackunai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Moretta in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Antanas Andriekus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daumantas Navikas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nadruvis's Vygandas Morkus got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dennis Moretta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Stackunai's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Moretta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egidijus Petukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egidijus Petukas made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Aistis Jasas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aistis Jasas got free with Egidijus Petukas in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Vygandas Morkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justinas Opulskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justinas Opulskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vygandas Morkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Nadruvis's Egidijus Plungys got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Daumantas Navikas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nadruvis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Dennis Moretta scored to the left of an out of position Egidijus Petukas, making the score, 1-1. FK Stackunai's Margiris Žiauberis was substituted for Svajūnas Turskis. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nadruvis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dennis Moretta was slow to take the kick. During this time FK Stackunai's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dennis Moretta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas did a great save. FK Stackunai's Justinas Opulskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daumantas Navikas in the 86th minute of play. Dainius Gerdauskas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Egidijus Petukas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dainius Gerdauskas kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 90thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Nadruvis's keeper Egidijus Petukas was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 94th minute, Karl Ahlroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Dainius Gerdauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Stackunai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. FK Stackunai's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
