Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabrielius Mašalas kicked off to start the match. Juozapas Daktaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrius Mykolaitis in the 19th minute of play. Juozapas Daktaras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabrielius Mašalas went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Mantas Malinauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. FC Gayzunay 66's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mantas Malinauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 28 minutes into the game, FC Klaipeda United's Mantas Malinauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozapas Daktaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 32 minutes, Gabrielius Mašalas made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Andrius Mykolaitis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabrielius Mašalas in the 44th minute of play forced FC Gayzunay 66's goalkeeper Juozapas Daktaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabrielius Mašalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Klaipeda United were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robertas Vertelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabrielius Mašalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute of the match, Gabrielius Mašalas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juozapas Daktaras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juozapas Daktaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mantas Malinauskas in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Gayzunay 66's goalkeeper Juozapas Daktaras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerónimo Caetano. In the 61st minute, Gabrielius Mašalas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juozapas Daktaras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 65th minute, Mantas Malinauskas made a precise shot to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. FC Gayzunay 66's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. If Mantas Malinauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Gayzunay 66 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gabrielius Pocevičius hit a great ball. Juozapas Daktaras was a little too slow when Mantas Malinauskas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-10. After 76 minutes of play, FC Klaipeda United's Mantas Malinauskas made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juozapas Daktaras was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Gabrielius Mašalas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Klaipeda United's Rolandas Skarulis was substituted for Jerónimo Caetano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mantas Malinauskas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juozapas Daktaras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88thth minute of the game Gabrielius Mašalas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juozapas Daktaras was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Mantas Malinauskas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mantas Malinauskas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. If Rolandas Skarulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mantas Malinauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Juozapas Daktaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juozapas Daktaras made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Rolandas Skarulis sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the FC Gayzunay 66 defense, Rolandas Skarulis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. The FC Gayzunay 66 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juozapas Daktaras should have stopped the shot. When the match was over FC Klaipeda United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Gayzunay 66 throughout the match.
