Spectators: 9299 (Terracing: 6976, Seating: 2138, VIP seats: 185) Lenny Hoarau started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Lenny Hoarau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kandys defense, Jullian Elens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigijus Žirgulis. The Kandys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigijus Žirgulis should have stopped the shot. Remigijus Žirgulis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Zhidelyay's Abel Neto. But to his dismay, Abel Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lars Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Hoarau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstantinas Zinkevičius's late challenge caught a Kandys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinas Zinkevičius helped the player get up and apologised. Zhidelyay's Lars Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Zhidelyay from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Redas Elijošius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kandys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zhidelyay the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Kandys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Redas Elijošius to maneuver through the defense. If Petras Janauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladas Anusevičius during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Kandys got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Bryk. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Neto was the one to do the kick off. Remigijus Žirgulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petras Bračas in the 53rd minute of the match. Redas Elijošius kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Zhidelyay's Lars Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margiris Nekrošius in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Kandys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mindaugas Melekša to maneuver through the defense. Zhidelyay's Þórlaugur Vignisson was substituted for Jullian Elens. Zhidelyay made a substitution. Evandro Maia replaced Audrius Rekašius. In the 96th minute, Lenny Hoarau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kandys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Kandys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zhidelyay's performance. The match ended with a win for Zhidelyay.
