Spectators: 9274 (Terracing: 6957, Seating: 2133, VIP seats: 184) Wolves's Olaf Irion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Wolves booed when FC Gayzunay 66 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidijus Tarutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gayzunay 66's goalkeeper Juozapas Daktaras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristinel Eftimiu in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juozapas Daktaras, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras got control of the ball when Algitas Daškevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Irion to maneuver through the defense. Juozapas Daktaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Eftimiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Dovydas Aleknius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozapas Daktaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juozapas Daktaras was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Dovydas Aleknius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dovydas Aleknius really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras got control of the ball when Olaf Irion tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Cristinel Eftimiu lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Juozapas Daktaras. Algitas Daškevičius scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juozapas Daktaras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 4-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Algitas Daškevičius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Eftimiu to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Wolves's Olaf Irion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozapas Daktaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Dovydas Aleknius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juozapas Daktaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Eftimiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Cristinel Eftimiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juozapas Daktaras. The goal made the score 6-0. In the 45th minute, Dacian Socoriceanu made a precise shot to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. FC Gayzunay 66's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robertas Vertelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juozapas Daktaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Eftimiu in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Irion in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Gayzunay 66's goalkeeper Juozapas Daktaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algimantas Nekrošius charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algimantas Nekrošius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Dovydas Aleknius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juozapas Daktaras was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 58 minutes into the match, Olaf Irion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. FC Gayzunay 66's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Irion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Algitas Daškevičius took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juozapas Daktaras. Juozapas Daktaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 64th minute Algitas Daškevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozapas Daktaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robertas Vertelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leonas Mažeika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juozapas Daktaras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristinel Eftimiu went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, FC Gayzunay 66's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Eftimiu came free, but Juozapas Daktaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskaras Daknevičius during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oskaras Daknevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Gayzunay 66 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jokūbas Mackėla hit a great ball. Olaf Irion took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juozapas Daktaras. Juozapas Daktaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 79th match minute, FC Gayzunay 66 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rimvydas Bunga to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Olaf Irion notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras. Juozapas Daktaras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, FC Gayzunay 66's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Irion came free, but Juozapas Daktaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Paris Pantazoulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Juozapas Daktaras came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves's Dovydas Aleknius. But to his dismay, Dovydas Aleknius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. After some careless play in the FC Gayzunay 66 defense, Cristinel Eftimiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. The FC Gayzunay 66 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juozapas Daktaras should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wolves fully deserved thier win.
