In the 2nd minute Rupertas Jančys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Girkantas Bikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerijus Petukas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupertas Jančys during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Rupertas Jančys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Legionas getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vilius Čiuzas hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Legionas's goalkeeper Girkantas Bikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nerijus Petukas. In the 20th minute, Nerijus Petukas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Girkantas Bikas. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 27th match minute, Didžiasalis Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugnius Bitė to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Legionas's Algirdas Birbilas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Girkantas Bikas was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Nerijus Petukas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nerijus Petukas really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Kajus Kiškunas made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Legionas's Aldas Matusevičius.

Didžiasalis Utd's Laurynas Pukelis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anicetas Grigaliūnas, made in the 55th minute of the game. After 57 minutes of play, Didžiasalis Utd's Ugnius Bitė made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Girkantas Bikas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th match minute, Legionas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldas Matusevičius to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Stasys Arelis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Girkantas Bikas skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Nerijus Petukas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Girkantas Bikas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iustinian Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilius Čiuzas in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Laurynas Pukelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algirdas Birbilas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ugnius Bitė managed to get in a good position for a shot. Didžiasalis Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ugnius Bitė was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Girkantas Bikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Legionas's goal looked a bit too open when Nerijus Petukas came free, but Girkantas Bikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Girkantas Bikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerijus Petukas in the 88th minute of the match. Ugnius Bitė fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Girkantas Bikas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertas Pelėda in the 93rd minute of play forced Legionas's goalkeeper Girkantas Bikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didžiasalis Utd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
