Spectators: 9243 (Terracing: 6933, Seating: 2126, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nerijus Petukas started the match with the kick off. Iustinian Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Hoarau in the 4th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Didžiasalis Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mindaugas Melekša was slow to take the kick. During this time Kandys's players had a chance to rest. Iustinian Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Hoarau in the 14th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Kandys's Iustinian Ceaușescu threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Margiris Nekrošius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lenny Hoarau in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iustinian Ceaușescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Didžiasalis Utd's Iustinian Ceaușescu got control of the ball when Petras Janauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Kandys's Lenny Hoarau made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iustinian Ceaușescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Didžiasalis Utd's zone, Margiris Nekrošius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustinian Ceaușescu came out of the goal and Margiris Nekrošius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kandys getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gerry Cheeseman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugnius Bitė in the 30th minute of play forced Kandys's goalkeeper Remigijus Žirgulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Lenny Hoarau made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Didžiasalis Utd's Iustinian Ceaușescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iustinian Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Lenny Hoarau sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerijus Petukas in the 40th minute of play forced Kandys's goalkeeper Remigijus Žirgulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Didžiasalis Utd booed when Kandys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Bryk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petras Janauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Iustinian Ceaușescu made a huge save. After 46 minutes Didžiasalis Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mindaugas Melekša who took care of the corner kick. Lenny Hoarau kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 48thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Didžiasalis Utd's keeper Iustinian Ceaușescu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenny Hoarau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Didžiasalis Utd's Robertas Pelėda got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Lenny Hoarau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustinian Ceaușescu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 57 minutes of play, Kandys's Petras Janauskas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iustinian Ceaușescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Didžiasalis Utd got a freekick which was hit by Arūnas Kiaunė. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenny Hoarau in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustinian Ceaușescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petras Janauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Iustinian Ceaușescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kandys's Vydas Matonis was substituted for Mindaugas Melekša. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Didžiasalis Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cyryl Bryk was slow to take the kick. During this time Kandys's players had a chance to rest. Kandys's Cyryl Bryk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iustinian Ceaușescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Iustinian Ceaușescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Margiris Nekrošius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustinian Ceaușescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Hoarau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute Margiris Nekrošius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenny Hoarau in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustinian Ceaușescu saved Didžiasalis Utd from getting behind. Kandys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
