FK Didvieciai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algirdas Žukauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Algirdas Žukauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, FC Klaipeda United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mantas Malinauskas to maneuver through the defense. Oxel Crespo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Wiesemann in the 40th minute of the match. FK Didvieciai were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after FC Klaipeda United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelijus Budnikas took the corner. Algirdas Žukauskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oxel Crespo came out and tried to block the shot, but Algirdas Žukauskas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, FC Klaipeda United's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislovas Aliukonis came free, but Oxel Crespo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Stanislovas Aliukonis made a precise shot to the right of Oxel Crespo. FC Klaipeda United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Stanislovas Aliukonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded FK Didvieciai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Klaipeda United.
