After 4 played minutes Kandys got a freekick which was hit by Petras Janauskas. 6 minutes into the match, FC Tosca's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Hoarau came free, but Egidijus Dičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Lenny Hoarau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egidijus Dičius. FC Tosca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lenny Hoarau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenny Hoarau in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egidijus Dičius saved FC Tosca from getting behind. When Adil Oğuzhan fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tosca's protests and gave Adil Oğuzhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Adil Oğuzhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15th play minutes Lenny Hoarau shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Egidijus Dičius and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, FC Tosca's Romas Šimkus got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Kandys booed when FC Tosca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Irimia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lenny Hoarau took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egidijus Dičius. Egidijus Dičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Lenny Hoarau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egidijus Dičius was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Tosca's Costel Irimia got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Mindaugas Melekša shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egidijus Dičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Lenny Hoarau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Tosca's Egidijus Dičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Margiris Nekrošius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Egidijus Dičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Owe Simmelkiær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egidijus Dičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petras Janauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Kandys's Lenny Hoarau in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tosca's goalie prevented a goal. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Kandys's Lenny Hoarau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egidijus Dičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenny Hoarau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Tosca's goalkeeper Egidijus Dičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lenny Hoaraus short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Egidijus Dičius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 63 in the game by Lenny Hoarau from a close distance when the talented Egidijus Dičius managed to make a qualified save. FC Tosca's players were relieved. Lenny Hoarau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Egidijus Dičius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Kandys's Lenny Hoarau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenny Hoarau in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidijus Dičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes FC Tosca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyryl Bryk who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Redas Elijošius advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-8 in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Petras Janauskas notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of FC Tosca's Egidijus Dičius. Egidijus Dičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lenny Hoarau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidijus Dičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Petras Janauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kandys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Redas Elijošius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Egidijus Dičius firmly grabbed it by the left post. Egidijus Dičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petras Janauskas in the 88th minute. FC Tosca's Egidijus Dičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Hoarau in the 92nd minute of play. Petras Janauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidijus Dičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The FC Tosca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kandys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
