Abel Neto started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Jullian Elens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zhidelyay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jullian Elens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Hansen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenny Hoarau's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Lars Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Hoarau in the 20th minute of the match. Konstantinas Zinkevičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Remigijus Žirgulis made a huge save. A collision led to Zhidelyay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Glyn Caine hit a great ball. Remigijus Žirgulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Neto in the 26th minute. Lars Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Hoarau in the 28th minute of the match. Remigijus Žirgulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jullian Elens in the 29th minute of play. Redas Elijošius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lars Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Zhidelyay's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Hoarau came free, but Lars Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kandys's Owe Simmelkiær got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Kandys got a freekick which was hit by Vladas Anusevičius. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenny Hoarau in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Hansen saved Zhidelyay from getting behind. Jullian Elens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mindaugas Melekša's late challenge caught a Zhidelyay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mindaugas Melekša helped the player get up and apologised. Mindaugas Melekša hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenny Hoarau in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Hansen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Lenny Hoarau put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Hansen. After the first half Kandys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenny Hoarau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Margiris Nekrošius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lars Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Hansen had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lenny Hoarau from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 58th match minute, Zhidelyay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinas Zinkevičius to maneuver through the defense. Remigijus Žirgulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jullian Elens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the match Zhidelyay got a corner. Kandys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Neto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Remigijus Žirgulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petras Bračas in the 62nd minute of play. Zhidelyay's Lars Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Zhidelyay from getting a goal against them. Remigijus Žirgulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jullian Elens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petras Bračas in the 70th minute of play forced Kandys's goalkeeper Remigijus Žirgulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Owe Simmelkiær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Hansen having to interfere. Zhidelyay made a substitution. Remigijus Žirgulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Remigijus Žirgulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petras Bračas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
