Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nazim Maalem took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hamad Muwaffaq was a little too slow when Nour al Din Abou Zaki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Yousef Khaldoun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Croydon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaid Basim to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Fouad Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Al Harith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Norbury United's Nazmi Arif seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nazmi Arif the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Norbury United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nazmi Arif had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 17th minute, Nazmi Arif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamad Muwaffaq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yazid Fariq, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Ubaid Basim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Habib Al Harith was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nazim Maalem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hamad Muwaffaq made a huge save. Kadar Mazid scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Habib Al Harith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saer Labib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazim Maalem. Ayoub Tayyib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Fariq in the 45th minute of play forced Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Croydon AFC's Asad Azhar got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Nazim Maalem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. Croydon AFC's Hamad Muwaffaq played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Fariq in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Norbury United were awarded a corner. Uthman Sabeeh went to the cornerflag to take it. 64 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yousef Khaldoun came free, but Hamad Muwaffaq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamad Muwaffaq came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Norbury United's Yousef Khaldoun. But to his dismay, Yousef Khaldoun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Nazim Maalem notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Croydon AFC's Hamad Muwaffaq. Hamad Muwaffaq was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Croydon AFC's Ubaid Basim got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazim Maalem in the 73rd minute of play forced Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Kadar Mazid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamad Muwaffaq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazim Maalem in the 75th minute of the match. Yousef Khaldoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. Yousef Khaldoun struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Hamad Muwaffaq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norbury United. 85 minutes into the match, Croydon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yousef Khaldoun came free, but Hamad Muwaffaq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamad Muwaffaq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazim Maalem in the 90th minute of the match. Hamad Muwaffaq showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazim Maalem, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Yousef Khaldoun came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Norbury United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yousef Khaldoun couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Norbury United fully deserved thier win.
