Hamad Muwaffaq made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Norbury United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazmi Arif to maneuver through the defense. Salim Abdul Khaliq's late challenge caught a Croydon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Croydon AFC's Kadar Mazid got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Diya Muzzammil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Habib Al Harith, 1-1. Habib Al Harith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diya Muzzammil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Norbury United's Salim Abdul Khaliq got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Yazid Fariq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Fatih Bahir made a precise shot to the right of Hamad Muwaffaq. Croydon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Nazim Maalem did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Hamad Muwaffaq 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Norbury United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Salim Abdul Khaliq hit a great ball. Habib Al Harith came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Croydon AFC's Kadar Mazid. But to his dismay, Kadar Mazid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Fatih Bahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. Nazim Maalem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamad Muwaffaq read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Diya Muzzammil made a precise shot to the right of Habib Al Harith. Norbury United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Asad Azhar fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croydon AFC's protests and gave Asad Azhar a yellow card for diving instead. Asad Azhar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The long shot by Saer Labib in the 94th minute really tested Hamad Muwaffaq's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Croydon AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Norbury United having more of the ball for most of the match.
