Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sobhi Abdul Jalil kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, RUBIN UNITED FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mousa Kateb came free, but Moneer Zayed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mousa Kateb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moneer Zayed having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, RUBIN UNITED FC's Talib Shams nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammad Nadal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. CEDAR FC's Mohammad Nadal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sobhi Abdul Jalil in the 22nd minute of play. Mohammad Nadal came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by RUBIN UNITED FC's Sobhi Abdul Jalil. But to his dismay, Sobhi Abdul Jalil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Moneer Zayed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulaiman Abdul Hamid, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, CEDAR FC's Zayd Mashrouf seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zayd Mashrouf the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CEDAR FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zayd Mashrouf had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th match minute, CEDAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zayd Mashrouf to maneuver through the defense. Uthman Khalif took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mohammad Nadal. CEDAR FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohammad Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talib Shams, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With an all-out effort, CEDAR FC's Moneer Zayed threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Khaled Abdul Shakur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zakariya Umayyah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, CEDAR FC's Zakariya Umayyah made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moneer Zayed was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohammad Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sobhi Abdul Jalil, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anwar Sabeeh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yousef Bakri kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Moneer Zayed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Abdul Shakur in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, RUBIN UNITED FC's Talib Shams dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Mohammad Nadal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talib Shams in the 69th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, RUBIN UNITED FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrahim Maymun to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Zakariya Umayyah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEDAR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Yousef Bakri was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yousef Bakri kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The CEDAR FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RUBIN UNITED FC's performance. The match ended with a win for RUBIN UNITED FC.
