Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Akram Abbas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Habib Al Harith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Azmi Tawfiq took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moneer Zayed. Moneer Zayed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Yazid Fariq ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moneer Zayed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Norbury United's Nour al Din Abou Zaki got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moneer Zayed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Fariq in the 18th minute of the match. Moneer Zayed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nour al Din Abou Zaki went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thawab Muzaffar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uthman Sabeeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moneer Zayed had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Uthman Sabeeh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yazid Fariq, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Habib Al Harith made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Sobhi Abdul Jalil sent off a good shot on target. Moneer Zayed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nour al Din Abou Zaki in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, RUBIN UNITED FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafiq Qudamah to maneuver through the defense. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thawab Muzaffar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Fariq in the 42nd minute of play forced RUBIN UNITED FC's goalkeeper Moneer Zayed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Yazid Fariq ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moneer Zayed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After the first half Norbury United were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nour al Din Abou Zaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Norbury United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thawab Muzaffar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the RUBIN UNITED FC defense, Yazid Fariq kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moneer Zayed. The RUBIN UNITED FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moneer Zayed should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Norbury United's zone, Akram Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Al Harith came out of the goal and Akram Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Norbury United's Saer Labib got a free kick in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yazid Fariq in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moneer Zayed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Uthman Sabeeh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Thawab Muzaffar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moneer Zayed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 86 minutes into the game, Ibrahim Maymun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Habib Al Harith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moneer Zayed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yazid Fariq's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Thawab Muzaffar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moneer Zayed. That made the score 1-8 in the 92 minute of play. The RUBIN UNITED FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Norbury United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
