Alexandros Karachristos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Vaggelis Kalabakas made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Thrasivoulos Lazarakoglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beilerli BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oropus the free kick. After 88 played minutes Beilerli BC got a freekick which was hit by Thrasivoulos Lazarakoglou. If Evripidis Passalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
