In the 26th minute, Khortos FC's Giorgos Roussounelos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giorgos Roussounelos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Khortos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giorgos Roussounelos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, Sotos Kakotaridis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paris Maintanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marios Kostis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Kyriakidis in the 33rd minute of the match. If Vaggelis Kyriakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paris Maintanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Lioutas in the 84th minute of the match.
