Takis Kakoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paraskevas Tatsis in the 6th minute of the match. B. Russel's Giorgos Anastasiou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Takis Kakoulakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 8 minutes into the game, Giorgos Anastasiou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Takis Kakoulakis. Giorgos Anastasiou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Telis Kamaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telis Kamaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Kandarakis having to interfere. A collision led to B. Russel getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Giorgos Anastasiou hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Fokas Dimopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Kandarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telis Kamaras charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telis Kamaras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telis Kamaras in the 30th minute of play forced B. Russel's goalkeeper Orestis Kandarakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Paraskevas Tatsis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Takis Kakoulakis. Paraskevas Tatsis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Paraskevas Tatsis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Kakoulakis was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paraskevas Tatsis in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Takis Kakoulakis saved Rantátika FC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Rantátika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Atmatzidis came free, but Takis Kakoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Menios Chrysafis during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Rantátika FC got a freekick which was hit by Menios Chrysafis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

51 minutes into the game, B. Russel's Stamatis Nomikos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Takis Kakoulakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Emrah Rakim walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 59 minutes into the match, Paraskevas Tatsis notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rantátika FC's Takis Kakoulakis. Takis Kakoulakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Takis Kakoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paraskevas Tatsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Menios Chrysafis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. A collision led to Rantátika FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Menios Chrysafis hit a great ball. Fokas Dimopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fokas Dimopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 minutes, Paraskevas Tatsis made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rantátika FC's Takis Kakoulakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. B. Russel's Stamatis Nomikos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Rantátika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Nomikos came free, but Takis Kakoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Kakoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Nomikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Telis Kamaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telis Kamaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraskevas Tatsis struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Takis Kakoulakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B. Russel. Stamatis Nomikos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stamatis Nomikos might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Takis Kakoulakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stamatis Nomikos ran back to his position shaking his head. Takis Kakoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paraskevas Tatsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. B. Russel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
