Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Christos Agathakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skarpαri's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Agathakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aggelos Papazachos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the game, Skarpαri's Christos Agathakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aggelos Papazachos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Kostas Bartzokas fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarpαri's protests and gave Kostas Bartzokas a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Skarpαri got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Bartzokas. 13 minutes into the match, Skarpαri's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Anastasopoulos came free, but Henrik Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Makis Passaris kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bart Dryden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Aggelos Papazachos made a huge save. After 17 played minutes A. E. K FC got a freekick which was hit by Makis Passaris. If Dimitris Lazaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lefteris Simertzidis in the 23rd minute of play forced Skarpαri's goalkeeper Henrik Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lefteris Simertzidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Dimos Sferopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Dryden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to A. E. K FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Iason Koukodimos hit a great ball. Henrik Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Anastasopoulos in the 33rd minute of play. Skarpαri's Henrik Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimos Sferopoulos in the 36th minute of play. If Barney Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dimitris Lazaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, A. E. K FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Passaris to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Skarpαri's Bart Dryden tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bart Dryden to make the kick off. Dimos Sferopoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrik Byström firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Henrik Byström managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when A. E. K FC's Dimos Sferopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the game, Dimos Sferopoulos lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Henrik Byström. A. E. K FC's Aggelos Papazachos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Dryden in the 58th minute of play. Barney Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Papazachos having to interfere. Dimitris Lazaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aggelos Papazachos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Skarpαri booed when A. E. K FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaggelos Svolopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Dryden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aggelos Papazachos having to make a save. Aggelos Papazachos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Ball in the 89th minute of the match. If Dimitris Anastasopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lefteris Simertzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Henrik Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
