The referee ignored NIKH 1924's protests and gave Grigoris Konstantinou a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes NIKH 1924 got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Konstantinou. In the 16th match minute, NIKH 1924 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Konstantinou to maneuver through the defense. Chrisostomos Seferis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Renos Tabakos made a huge save. Marinos Fotopoulos's late challenge caught a DODONI EAGLES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chrisostomos Seferis got free with Renos Tabakos in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sakis Vasilakos's late challenge caught a DODONI EAGLES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakis Vasilakos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Fragiskos Moras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renos Tabakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyriakos Giannou kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. NIKH 1924's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Chrisostomos Seferis scored to the left of an out of position Renos Tabakos, making the score, 3-0. After 42 minutes of play NIKH 1924's Marinos Fotopoulos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marinos Fotopoulos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Fragiskos Moras from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Renos Tabakos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Kostas Karachristos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NIKH 1924's protests and gave Kostas Karachristos a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kostas Karachristos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ludomil Smolarek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renos Tabakos was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Kostas Karachristos could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Ermis Patinios however easily saved by the left post. After 78 minutes, Ludomil Smolarek made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. NIKH 1924's Renos Tabakos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Renos Tabakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chrisostomos Seferis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Sakis Vasilakos got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 82 played minutes NIKH 1924 got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Vasilakos. Ludomil Smolarek took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renos Tabakos. Renos Tabakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Chrisostomos Seferis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, NIKH 1924 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Konstantinou to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes, Ludomil Smolarek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DODONI EAGLES and the NIKH 1924 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, DODONI EAGLES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Smolarek to maneuver through the defense. During the 96th minute of the match Kostas Karachristos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. DODONI EAGLES's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
