Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Skαndalo's Marinos Anatolakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Méga Bisdoúni BC's Demis Panagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Anatolakis in the 5th minute of play. When Anestis Koutos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Méga Bisdoúni BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Koutos couldn't finish the play. Thalis Barlas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Miltos Gonatas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Panagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Spyropoulos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alkinoos Papakonstantinou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Méga Bisdoúni BC. When Evripidis Pantelos came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Méga Bisdoúni BC fans jumped to their feet. Anestis Koutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkinoos Papakonstantinou having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Méga Bisdoúni BC got a freekick which was hit by Kosmas Bonos. Marinos Anatolakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Méga Bisdoúni BC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Anatolakis came free, but Demis Panagiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paris Drakos scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demis Panagiotopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Miltos Gonatas had to leave the field with a concussion. After 34 minutes, Kosmas Bonos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Méga Bisdoúni BC and the Skαndalo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valerios Panagos during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valerios Panagos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes, Skαndalo's Valentinos Kostoulas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demis Panagiotopoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skαndalo reached it. Demis Panagiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Anatolakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkinoos Papakonstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Koutos in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Skαndalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Papachronas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Skαndalo defense, Anestis Koutos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alkinoos Papakonstantinou. The Skαndalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alkinoos Papakonstantinou should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Skαndalo's Paris Drakos got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Anestis Koutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Koutos took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkinoos Papakonstantinou. Alkinoos Papakonstantinou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Spyropoulos in the 78th minute of play forced Skαndalo's goalkeeper Alkinoos Papakonstantinou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demis Panagiotopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Papachronas in the 80th minute. Demis Panagiotopoulos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skαndalo's Sotiris Papachronas. But to his dismay, Sotiris Papachronas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Méga Bisdoúni BC's Demis Panagiotopoulos got control of the ball when Sotiris Papachronas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Sotiris Papachronas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demis Panagiotopoulos. Sotiris Papachronas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Sotiris Papachronas could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Demis Panagiotopoulos however easily saved by the left post.
