Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chrisostomos Maltezos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Palaiókipos FC's Aimilios Skalidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efthimis Mendrinos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Aimilios Skalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palaiókipos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimilios Skalidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efthimis Mendrinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stelios Dimis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Alexidis in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Alexidis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelios Dimis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Thalis Alexidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelios Dimis was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After having played for 16 minutes, Aimilios Skalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palaiókipos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimilios Skalidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Thalis Alexidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Chrisostomos Maltezos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Kostas Giannakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thalis Alexidis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Agios Kirykos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thalis Alexidis couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Palaiókipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Alexidis came free, but Stelios Dimis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thalis Alexidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Dimis having to interfere. Stelios Dimis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Alexidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Agios Kirykos FC's Chrisostomos Maltezos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelios Dimis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stelios Dimis came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Agios Kirykos FC's Chrisostomos Maltezos. But to his dismay, Chrisostomos Maltezos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Palaiókipos FC's zone, Chrisostomos Maltezos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Dimis came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Maltezos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Thalis Alexidis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Palaiókipos FC's Stelios Dimis. Stelios Dimis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aimilios Skalidis to make the kick off. Thalis Alexidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Stelios Dimis made a huge save. Palaiókipos FC's Stelios Dimis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Palaiókipos FC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Palaiókipos FC's goalkeeper Stelios Dimis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thalis Alexidis. Stelios Dimis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Maltezos in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Alexidis got free with Stelios Dimis in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Agios Kirykos FC's Chrisostomos Maltezos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stelios Dimis. Stelios Dimis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Agios Kirykos FC's Iosif Kiassos got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chrisostomos Maltezos in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelios Dimis saved Palaiókipos FC from getting behind. Stelios Dimis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Thalis Alexidis sent off a good shot on target. Sofoklis Lolos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Chrisostomos Maltezos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Stelios Dimis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agios Kirykos FC. 90 minutes into the match, Palaiókipos FC's goalkeeper Stelios Dimis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thalis Alexidis. In the 92nd minute Aimilios Skalidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efthimis Mendrinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Chrisostomos Maltezos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agios Kirykos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chrisostomos Maltezos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agios Kirykos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
