Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fanis Mantarinopoulos started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Pyrus booed when Pestani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thodoris Pelidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Makis Theodorakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Makis Theodorakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Chatzas having to interfere. Pestani's Argyris Chatzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolikas Mamais in the 14th minute of play. Pyrus's Alkaios Koufos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pyrus from getting a goal against them. Makis Theodorakos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Makis Theodorakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pyrus's Makis Theodorakos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Apostolikas Mamais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Argyris Chatzas having to make a save. After some careless play in the Pestani defense, Makis Theodorakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Argyris Chatzas. The Pestani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Argyris Chatzas should have stopped the shot. Pyrus's Alkaios Koufos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Mantarinopoulos in the 35th minute of play. Alkaios Koufos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Mantarinopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Argyris Chatzas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolikas Mamais in the 38th minute of play. If Makis Theodorakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Apostolikas Mamais notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pestani's Argyris Chatzas. Argyris Chatzas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apostolikas Mamais to make the kick off. Giorgos Moustakis charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Moustakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Makis Theodorakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Makis Theodorakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pyrus's supporters rose to their feet, but Makis Theodorakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Argyris Chatzas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Thodoris Pantazakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alkaios Koufos. Pyrus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thodoris Pantazakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After having played for 67 minutes, Fanis Mantarinopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pestani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fanis Mantarinopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makis Theodorakos got free with Argyris Chatzas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes, Dimitris Skliros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pestani and the Pyrus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimitris Skliros hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Apostolikas Mamais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pyrus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apostolikas Mamais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Apostolikas Mamais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Chatzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thodoris Pantazakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alkaios Koufos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fanis Mantarinopoulos's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
